• Physical Description

  She is just your average golden tan pony, she might be a tad rounder than other ponies from all the snacks she likes to eat but she never lets it get to her. One little thing that stands out is a darker beauty spot on her snout. Growing up she was always told it was a seed of beauty. Her buttery blonde hair is extremely poofy and wavy, it really seems to be out of control most of the time. The only part of her hair that she seems to get her hooves around is her bangs. The rest of her mane and tail she just accessorizes to be acceptable and not just bed-head looking.

• Personality

  A very cheery pony, she loves to bounce around and cling onto her friends. She's a very huggy kind of pony - even to be as forward as to kiss her friends on the cheeks! She doesn't really understand boundaries. She's a bit clueless and rather naive.... She seems unable to notice any negativity in front of her or even directed at her.

• Back Story

  Both of her parents were landscaping/flower arranging ponies who very much expected the same of their daughter to follow in their hoof steps. When Poppy discovered her love and talent for snack food, specially popcorn, her parents disapproved greatly. Shamed Poppy moved out from home in Hoofington and into Tang's home where they room together. To overcompensate for her mixed emotions about her family problems and career choice she seems easily excitable and almost overly chipper. Naturally she is an extremely social and friendly pony who has no problems making lots of friends. Tang however is her best friend who she relies on for that hug every once in a while.

• Likes/Dislikes

  ♥ Cold Beverages! Nothing goes better with hot, salty, buttery popcorn than a chilled soda!
  ♥ Sunny Days, it just perks her moods right up.
  ♥ Anything corn related, obviously! More than just popped mind you, cobs, steamed, grilled, boiled, the works!
  ♥ Playing games, she loves social activities. Specially board games! Or the fun events at parties!
  ♥ Festivals, what better place to serve popcorn? She loves pulling around her little cart and seeing the delight on each ponies face went they take that first hoof full!
  
  ✖ Disappointment, after her parents didn't approve of her dream she's been pretty scared about disappointing any other pony.
  ✖ Thunder, ever since she was a little filly she has been terrified of the loud thundering noise.
  ✖ Ladybugs, they're just so scary!!!
  ✖ Fighting and arguing of any sort. She tries really hard to brush off all conflicting words and treat everyone with a bright smile even if it's strained.
