Physical Description
Jian is 1,85 cm
He has straight black hair that reaches a little above his chin, feline ears, tiger-like markings all over his body and a beige and white skin. His face is rather cattish and his nails are naturally black and sharp. His bottom half consists of feline legs and paws, and a prehensile tail.
Personality
Jian is a man of little words. His face is almost devoid of emotions, except when he's feeling something extreme. He's also incredibly observant, and honest. And despite looking experienced, or even wise, Jian's very innocent about many things, and is complete crap at trying to talk to girls. He also tries to be helpful and useful to others.
During battle though, Jian tends to become a natural leader, but becomes very stubborn and a bit cold hearted. Of course, the graveness of his lack of sympathy always gets to him once the fight is over. He becomes susceptible to guilt.

Hometown: Chen District, a chinese-looking district to the north of Brin. It's a small place, but it's very busy. Many people go there for their markets and kiosks.
Back Story
Jian was born to a poor family of handymen. He always helped out at home in the early mornings and late afternoons, then at night he would finish his homework for school. Jian aspired to play with the other kids, but never found any time, so he failed to develop social skills necessary for friend-making. Though one day, he finally took a chance to go out and get to meet people when he randomly decided to skip class.
What he met was a row of noisy markets, people shouting out their goods for customers and lots of people. Annoyed by the racket, Jian sought another, hopefully more quiet place to explore. He was at his district's main gate, and by chance found a group of demons heading his way. Scared by their strange appearance, he rushed back home to tell his parents about what he just saw. A sudden explosion originating from the market area stopped him halfway and he realized the demons' attack had already started.
The Chimera Corporation and the human soldiers arrived just in time to save his home from absolute destruction. Jian was completely amazed by their skill and decided to change his lifestyle. When he reached the age of 16, he bid his parents goodbye and left for the Corporation.
Ongoing Story
Jian only began training for the Weaponry Exam a year after he joined. This was because he was worried about making friends and gaining social skills. It was around that time when he met Stuart, his current best friend. They bumped into each other for the first time during a lunch break, when Jian was sitting all alone, and Stuart had no one to hang out with. He persistently tagged along Jian and eventually started developing something more stronger than just 'acquaintances'.
After that, Jian felt more at home and encouraged to begin selecting a weapon to train with for the Weaponry exam. He felt most comfortable with the longer weapons, such as the staff and the spear. After a year and a half of training, he passed the exam and joined the others on the Elemental training.
Also, one day, Jian was discovered for his good handyman skills after impulsively and successfully fixing a leak in one of the training rooms. Now most of the staff rely on him to do some repairs (for a payment of course, which he uses to help his family).

Strengths: close range and hand to hand combat, using his feline legs to boost up his speed and agility, his keen sense of smell and sight
Weaknesses: Long range combat, attacks that require too much strength or opponents that are too muscular, his family and friends (if they are being held hostage or threatened, Jian freezes)

Jian has a crush on Miwa, but since he sucks at talking to girls, every time he approaches her, something he does ends up ruining the moment, such as an innocent comment, or a slip...
